An opportunity for an Electrical Project Manager to join a large, well-known contractor in the lower mainland!

Our client, a well-established and reputable company, is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to contribute to their continued growth. As part of their team, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing commercial, industrial, and tenant improvement projects. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality work and building strong client relationships, this opportunity is for you.

Your new Role:

Project Planning and Management:
Develop and manage project schedules, resource plans, procurement, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee projects to ensure the highest quality deliverables for our clients.
Conduct monthly project billing, reconcile project accounts, and handle ongoing invoicing.
Leadership and Team Support:
Provide direction, leadership, and support to project team members.
Collaborate closely with clients and foremen to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Manage technical staff to achieve project milestones.
Safety and Risk Management:
Proactively assess risks and develop safety plans in alignment with regulations.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Participate in safety committee meetings.
Client Satisfaction:
Address client concerns promptly and maintain overall client satisfaction.
Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
Subcontractor Management:
Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a reliable pool of resources.
Manage subcontractor selection for projects as needed.
Estimation and Documentation:
Prepare estimates for material, labor, and equipment costs.
Handle bids, quotations, drawings, and specifications.
Prepare change order estimates.

What you’ll need to Succeed:

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with commercial projects in the local Vancouver Electrical Industry.
Education: Trades Qualified.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project software.
Strong computer skills.
Time Management: Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet multiple deadlines.
