Service Technician - Wood Wyant

Description Reporting to Operations Manager, you will travel to our customers in various commercial, industrial or health care sectors in British Columbia, though it will primarily be in the lower mainland. You will install, repair and provide after-sales service for a range of products such as auto-scrubbers, chemical mixing system, peristaltic/ Diaphragm pumps, etc. We provide the vehicle, tools, uniform and training. Responsibilities As a member of the Operations Manager’s team, the Service Technician brings expertise by:Providing value-added after-sales service and perform problem solving;Performing repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of systems on electromechanical equipment, either onsite or in branchHelping other departments through internal work;Diagnosing problems, determining corrective action and undertaking repair;Managing service calls and examining the customer’s requirements; To perform, you need to : Know how to work in a team while also being self-directed; demonstrate initiative and be solutions-oriented; Have strong communication skills and be customer-oriented; Be organized and able to assimilate and follow processes; Previous education/ experience in Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Controls would be considered an asset; Have a valid driver’s license and provide a clean driving abstract; Be able to lift up to 75 pounds (battery replacement, equipment loading and offloading); Applicants that move past the initial interview may be asked to take a relevant aptitude test.
