Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking for Forklift Operators for an immediate start in Delta. Unionized after a short probation period.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate Counter Balance, Narrow Aisle Reach, Order Picker and Power pallet jack
• Manages pick ticket orders
• Pulls warehouse items using MHE from the shelves based on number, quantity, and quality requirements
• Ensures that orders are accurate
• Stages items correctly for delivery
• Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed
• Oversees stock replenishment
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Shrink wraps products to pallets
• Loads delivery vehicles
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accurately
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications :

• Forklift Operators certificate
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Experience working with an RF Scanner
• Ability to work well in a team environment but be self-motivated and independent at times
• Must be able to lift 30kg safely using the correct form and techniques
• Able to stand on feet for long durations of time
• Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Keen attention to details

Shift Schedule :

• Morning Shift: 6am to 2:30pm
• Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
• Graveyard Shift: 9:30am to 6:00am

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $18.50-$20.50 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

• Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
