The Role The Formation Facilities Infrastructure Manager is an APS6 position responsible for the oversight and coordination of infrastructure projects and programs for the Land Combat College and its Training Establishment’s. Land Combat College has seven Training Establishment’s that are located across six Defence establishments, within three states, four of which Land Combat College is that primary occupant for the establishment. Working within the Logistics (S4) Branch, the position will work directly with the Senior ADF Officers (SADFO), Training Establishment Commanding Officers and facilities officers and base management teams. Drawing from your Project Management, trade of similar background you will assist with building detailed business cases, oversee new and ongoing projects and programs and ensure the outcomes meet the functional requirements for the Training Establishment. This role will also look at the long-term infrastructure planning to ensure we are evolving our facilities to meet future training needs to support the ADFs force generation any future structure plans. Situated within Patterson Hall, Duntroon Garrison, Canberra, the Formation Facilities Infrastructure Manager will operate within a close-knit team, directly supporting Land Combat College and Training Establishment’s. About our Team The Land Combat College Logistics Branch is a small team of specialist professionals responsible for the management, compliance and governance or all Technical, Logistics and Infrastructure functions across the formation. The Logistics Branch is part of the Headquarters Land Combat College team, which promotes an adult workplace environment and a respectful open discourse between its members. An ability to establish, foster and maintain collaborative relationships across the Land Combat College, the Defence enterprise and external stakeholders is essential, and there will be a requirement for interstate travel to conduct site visits or inspections.
