French Teacher

Villanova College is a traditional, independent, Augustinian, Catholic, day school which emphasizes the development of the whole person. To meet the needs of the student, an emphasis is placed on developing the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical aspects of the individual. We invite applications for a full-time French Teacher beginning September 2024. Candidates must have the following qualifications and qualities: • University Degree • Bachelor of Education Degree • Certification at the Intermediate/Senior level with the Ontario College of Teachers • Strong computer skills required. Previous experience working in a laptop-based school or previous experience working with Edsby is considered an asset • Ability to participate in our daily after school programs • Supportive of the Catholic teachings in our school • Pastoral reference letter is preferred Co-Curricular • Teaching coverage and assigned duties, as needed, within various grade levels to ensure continuity for students when colleagues are away • Coaching, moderating or leading one cocurricular in arts or athletics after school Villanova College offers a competitive salary and full benefits, including participation in the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
