As such, we welcome talented individuals that have a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and industry experience who will contribute to the success of our One Parkland team.Position Title: Operations SupervisorLocation: Kentville, Bridgewater, Digby or Yarmouth - Nova Scotia Position Summary:The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Bridgewater, Digby, Yarmouth and Kentville branches with respect to overseeing centralized support services (office, warehouse/yard, and field work). We are looking for an individual who will take pride in providing exceptional customer service and will work to build the business and operate it in a safe and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities: Ensure the facility and its employees are complying with all safety procedures set by the company.Supervision of staff (multiple locations) including hiring, performance management & salary recommendations.Office responsibilities will include the management of resources, processes, and procedures related to: service coordination, service invoicing, fuel/propane/lubes invoicing and disputes, lubes inventory control, house account management, front counter coordination, and general branch administration (e.g. asset/tank management, generate and present/communicate reports, month-end close, receipt of payments and cash handling).Ensure customers (external and internal) always get the best possible service, and conducting field site visits to build and maintain our customer relationships.Perform basic sales functions.Identify opportunities to improve and take action to execute on these opportunities utilizing continuous improvement tools.All other duties as required.
