eLearning Quality Assurance Lead

Job Description Our public sector client in Education is seeking a eLearning Quality Assurance Lead to join their team. The client is implementing a new SaaS based Student Information System (SIS) with complex integrations to other internal systems. The successful candidate will bring experience coordinating the development of eLearning materials as part of a large organizational project. Roles and Responsibilities The eLearning Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the coordination of eLearning development and the quality review process for the training materials that are created. Undertakes quality review process for training materials, ensuring they meet best practices in adult education and use of educational technologies. Undertakes content review process with Business Process experts and ensures corrections are completed. Provides expertise, guidance, and coaching, where required, on how to apply quality assurance measures to videos, software simulations and learner assessments, to improve the user experience. Co-ordinates the eLearning development process to ensure consistency across modules and provides progress reports to management. Provides guidance, coaching and support to new multimedia developer co-op students in their orientation and completion of assigned projects. Qualifications and Skills 5+ years of experience coordinating eLearning projects, including the application of adult learning theories to produce interactive learning materials, software simulations and instructional guiding documents. 5+ years of experience coordinating eLearning projects, following a formal instructional design process, using tracking tools and providing progress reports. Demonstrated expertise in the use of quality assurance methodologies and tools. 5+ years of experience in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Premiere Pro, In Design, Audition). Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing software simulations within large ERP projects, including knowledge of processes to stage data for training simulations. Experience in the use of Adobe Captivate (or equivalent rapid eLearning development tool). Experience working in post-secondary education; knowledge of business operations in a Registrar’s Office. Previous experience creating training for the use of a student information system.
