Job Description PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A POOL OF CANDIDATES FOR THE ROADWAY ENGINEERING SPECIALIST POSITION FOR POTENTIAL FUTURE NEEDS As a member of our Roads & Utilities Group in the Engineering, Design and Project Management Division for Central Canada, you will be working in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. In addition to road and utility design, you will have exposure to structural, traffic, environmental, geotechnical, foundations, geomatics, rail and electrical design during the course of our design assignments.Location – Toronto, ONYour role within the team:Assist in the preparation of preliminary/detailed highway and municipal roadway design as directed by the Project Manager or Design Lead.Prepare or update design drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation.Assist in preparation of contract packages including design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.Prepare quantity calculations, property requests, design reports, meeting minutes.Conduct site inspection reviews or site visits.Prepare proposals or expressions of interest for road and utility design projects.Coordinate with other disciplines, design leads and/or construction personnelWhy chooseAtkinsRéalis as an employer?
