We are assiting an enterprise drone technology firm focusing on drone development and a range of software solutions, including payment, plant tracking, hemp business management, supply chain, compliance, and government auditing software as they look to hire an Investor Relations Director. The Director of Investor Relations is the primary interface with the investment community and a vital member of the Finance Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll spearhead managing relationships with shareholders, analysts, and investors, conveying our company's strategy, financial health, and growth opportunities. Acting as a bridge between internal teams and investors, you'll collaborate across departments such as Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Implementation, and M&A to thrive in this role. What you'll do: Develop and execute investor relations strategy to boost shareholder value and confidence. Cultivate relationships with investors, analysts, and stakeholders. Communicate financial performance and strategy through various channels. Advise leadership on investor sentiment and market trends. Ensure consistency in investor communications with cross-functional teams. Own financial modeling for investor narratives. Present financial guidance to leadership and board. Provide insights on M&A opportunities. Analyze industry benchmarks and feedback for improvement. Organize investor events to expand market visibility. Ensure compliance with financial regulations. What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MS in Accounting/Finance preferred. Experience and ability to write press releases, presentations and manage social media accounts 3+ years in finance, investor relations, or related roles. Knowledge of enterprise software or drone technology beneficial. Understanding of product vision and marketing. Ability to prioritize and deliver on high-value initiatives. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Adaptable and thrives in dynamic environments. Willingness to travel up to 50%. Salary up to $100k plus stock after 2 yrs service. This is an on-site role in Toronto.
