Through your administrative excellence and the positive relationships you build throughout BCAA, you provide support and guidance to managers and team members across all departments in areas such as employee lifecycle changes, onboarding, occupational health and safety, performance management, employee and labour relations.Who you areYou have a passion for health and safety and understand their importance to team members, Members and the organization as a wholeYou have excellent communication skillsYou excel at problem solving and creative decision making to ensure the best employee and Member experiences possibleYou perform well in high pressure situations What you bringDiploma in Human Resources, Business or Occupational Health & Safety1-2 years in related experienceAn equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredClean BC Drivers license with access to a vehicleLevel 2 first aid (or be willing to take)Once here, you willSupport the implementation and administration of all Health & Safety programs, initiatives, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and to meet the needs of BCAAComplete monthly and annual inspections, ensuring compliancePartner with operation leadership to ensure program adherence, appropriate escalations, and best practices are designed and executed with Health & Safety in mindSupport in responding to general team member inquiries, resolving standard Human Resources issues and liaising with People Services leadersLeads coordination of events including planning, set up, take down and making necessary arrangementsSupport People Services leaders in creating letters and documentationLiaise with People & Development centres of excellence to drive people programs and people services inquiries
