They report directly to the Project Manager and work closely with the Site Superintendent and are responsible for the overall coordination and tracking of all activity for the site for the duration of the project and they are the central liaison for communication, scheduling and administration. The Site Coordinator is also required to:Coordinate all site activities and daily production needs with the Site Superintendent Review the project schedule with the Site Superintendent and provide a 2-week look-ahead schedule Ensure that the scope of work is being followed and details are communicated to team members and the client as necessary, in a timely manner Maintain open and timely communications with all internal & external project team members and stakeholders for our various divisions including Yard, Procurement, Crane, Pumping and Head Office Conduct inspections with the Engineer of Record to ensure QC/QA is met prior to each pour Ensure all QC/QA forms are completed, filed in our internal One Drive and submitted to the GC Book all inspection and testing parties as prescribed under the scope of work which may include concrete testing, slab flatness testing and scaffold inspections Book concrete placing crew as per updated schedule Coordinate pump locations, sizes and logistics Assist the Project Manager with technical assistance requests and follow-up Manage the “extras” from scope of work and ensure that the following is completed: Track all extra work Prepare Time & Management (T&M) sheets for Manpower and Equipment Ensure all documentation is stored under our internal One Drive Maintain Tracking sheets and job files in our internal One Drive, including RFI’s, Shop drawings, Change-Orders, Material Request Forms (MRFs), etc. Follow up with GC for approvals Notify the Project Manager of all changes in scope of work requests Collect, administer, track and complete other documents including; daily reports with pictures, weekly inspections, daily man-counts, closures, delays, checklists and timesheets Ensure all timesheets are verified, approved and sent to payroll (in Head Office) for processing Attend weekly site meetings with GC and other trades Engage in all site safety meetings and inspections Comply with all WorkSafe (WCB) procedures and safety practices including on site work practices and guidelines Occasionally, when Syber is responsible for the concrete supply, book concrete for the entire week per site schedule, update concrete order and check quantity and mix design, and manage time of pour. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Technical Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Building Science is preferred Red Seal Trade Certification in carpentry is desirable 2-5 years of experience in construction is required, concrete forming experience is preferred Experience working with Bluebeam & AutoCAD Proficient with MS Suite – Outlook, Word and Excel and previous experience working with spreadsheets Working proficiency with project management software such as MS Projects Knowledge of WorkSafe (WCB) procedures/safety practices and safety-conscious Creative and effective problem solving, reasoning, business-savvy and decision-making skills Excellent interpersonal skills and dedicated commitment to providing superior, timely support for all levels of employees, management and external vendors, suppliers and clients Ability to envision the project sites’ current and future needs and present effective solutions Ability to communicate effectively and positively while under pressure and time constraints Ability to work well with others with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team Must be able to multi-task, be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment Must be versatile, reliable and detail-oriented Must have personal protection equipment (PPE) and a reliable means of transportation to job sites Must be able to work outdoors on occasion in adverse weather conditions Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as required BENEFITS:We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits plan which includes Health and Dental benefits, Extended health, vision care and Life and Disability insurance.
