<p>POSITION: Licensed Industrial Electrician<br /> Full Time Permanent Position<br /> excellent benefits, tuition reimbursement, overtime, etc.<br /> SHIFT: 12 hour rotating every 2 weeks between days and nights<br /> LOCATION: Cambridge, ON<br /> INDUSTRY: Heavy Industrial 24/7 operation</p> <p> </p> <p>POSITIONS SUMMARY:</p> <p>The licensed electrician will be responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of all plant machinery. This plant runs 24/7 and is a continuous process environment. It is in the heavy industrial sector the company provides materials used in a variety of manufacturing industries including but not limited to construction, automotive, steel, etc.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p> </p> <p> Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic controls and systems, using required knowledge and understanding of mechanics, fluidic, and electrical systems/components, as well as how they operate.</p> <p> Perform rounds and check machinery to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.</p> <p> Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and all high-voltage systems at or below 480 volts.</p> <p> Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, PLC networks, and cranes, and repairs or replaces worn items as required.</p> <p> Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems as needed.</p> <p> Lay out, install, and maintain a variety of complete electronically controlled equipment, such as rolling mill loop controls, secondary distribution centers, programmable sequences, and pulpit control panel.</p> <p> Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.</p> <p> Work with maintenance and production as required.</p> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p> Must be able to work a 12 hour rotating shift schedule, days, nights, and two weekends a month.</p> <p> Hold a valid Electricians License.</p> <p> 3 plus years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience including preventative and routine maintenance.</p> <p> Ability to read and interpret drawings.</p> <p> PLC troubleshooting experience.</p> <p> High voltage power, control, and drive experience.</p>
