The role involves overseeing Occupational health and safety (OH&S) protocols, managing employment agreements and documentation, implementing HR best practices, and more. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HR principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.Schedule:Full-TimeSalary:$56,000 - $73,000 per yearWhat We Offer:Training into a new career pathExtended Health CareDentalRRSPEmployee Assistance ProgramInternal Growth and Skill development programsWho You Are:Oversee and enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fieldWorking towards Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferredProven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role in a medium-sized organization (500+ people)Strong knowledge of BC employment and labour laws Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and various HRIS and ATS softwareDetail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities What Your Day Will Look Like:Oversee and enforce OccupationalHealth and Safety (OH&S) protocols to ensure a safe working environment.Manage the creation,review, and maintenance of employment agreements and documentation.Implement and maintain HRbest practices throughout the group.Handle employee relationsmatters professionally and confidentially.Assist in the onboardingprocess, including facilitating orientation sessions.Assist leaders with employee disciplinary issues and/or layoffsand terminations ensuring completion of documents for employee file.Handle day to day HR inquiries.Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensurecompliance.Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.Be part of an amazing team that lives their values out loud each day! Trotman Auto Group is proudly an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all applications.
