Infrastructure TechnicianOlymbec is currently looking for an Infrastructure Technicians to join our team. Infrastructure technicians are responsible for providing front-line support for Olymbec’s network.Key Responsibilities: Installation of networking equipment and cablesOrder, gather, and inventory equipment, supplies, materials, and toolsRun, pull, terminate, and splice CAT6 and fiber optic cablesVerify service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms, identifying, correcting, or escalating issuesDocument network by labeling equipment and cables; recording configuration diagrams and specifications, and updating network monitoring toolsMaintain the network by troubleshooting and repairing outagesEnhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of 5 years experienceAbility to run cabling, conduitsWork on roofs and climb laddersUbiquiti antenna knowledgeRouting and switching with Mikrotik and Hewlett-Packard preferredStrong troubleshooting skillsReading and understanding floor plansBilingual (French and English)Strong communication skills, oral and writtenMust possess a valid class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean driving recordMust be able to travel unfettered to the USA for work purposesASP ConstructionMust be able to perform tasks at heightsFall Protection certificationBoom truck and scissor lift certification an asset Job type: Full-time, permanent.
