Employment Summary: Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Electrotechnician supports the plant's various production lines. He meets in quantity and quality the standards required daily according to the work plan set. Duties: 1. Line troubleshooting: Intervenes to restart a line in problem following a trouble, breakage, malfunction or unplanned shutdown. Receiving service calls Diagnostic Part search and repair Temporary modification of PLC program Trial, restart and support 2. Modification, Improvement and Addition of Equipment Performs planned work resulting from engineering or continuous improvement activities on various production equipment with the aim of improving line efficiency and performance. Work generated by the planner and/or coordinator. May be called upon to participate in the feasibility assessment. May be called upon to participate in the preparation of the work. Responsible for testing and commissioning. 3. Preventive maintenance Checks and inspects electrical equipment to prevent defects and meet quality standards. Calibration of instruments. Periodic inspections of electrical equipment. Periodic cleaning of electrical equipment. Preventive maintenance of electrical equipment. Participates in the development and improvement of preventive maintenance sheets and plans. 4. Communicates any changes made or complications encountered to the teams responsible for the impacted departments. 5. Assists departmental electrical technicians in the manual updating of plans, programs and electrical drawings impacted by a change made and follows up on the computer update with the system group. 6. Proceeds to the entry of time and details of operations in the maintenance software (SAP & Meta). 7. Participate in the daily meetings of the last 24 hours (electrical department). 8. Can be contacted to develop an action plan for recurring issues & participate in DMAIC. 9. Before leaving at the end of the shift, if a problem is not resolved, ensure that an action plan has been put in place. 10. Performs other related duties. Requirements: D.E.C. college diploma in electrical engineering. Licence C (Non-construction electrician's competency card). Knowledge of Rockwell Automation's automation product suites: Control Logix, Kinetix, Panel View, Power Flex. Knowledge of production systems in a manufacturing environment. Ease of learning new technologies. Ease in solving problems and associated technical processes. Effective oral and written communication in French. Assets: Knowledge of SAP maintenance management software. Knowledge of ABB industrial robots. Knowledge of Cognex industrial cameras. Knowledge of Siemens S7 programmable logic controllers. Knowledge of TI (Texas Instrument) programmable logic controllers Knowledge of equipment in the food sector. Bilingualism (English). Salary: ET1-Level 1-0 to 2000 hours ET1 $ 39.12 ET2-Level 2-from 2001 hours ET2 $ 41.21 ET3-Level 3-License C obtained or in the process of obtaining with proven exp KraftHeinz (3600 hrs and more at KH) ET3 $ 43.50 Work schedule: Post 3 days a week x 12h per day, rotating every 2 weeks day / night.
