Specialty Sales - Garage Doors

THE OPPORTUNITY

Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Specialty Sales team member for our Garage Door divison. The shifts are Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm, we offer a competitive compensation package including a commission plan. Our Extended Health & Dental benefits start after 3 months.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Including but not limited to the following:

• Work in partnership with outside contract sales team
• Provide superior customer service
• Draft project quotes, enter delivery orders, place special orders, and assist in purchasing
• Promote, present, and sell Slegg products
• Build strong customer relationships through job site visits, reliable call backs, and follow up on deliveries
• Awareness of project timeline to foresee material needs
• Follow sales leads by reviewing trade publications/notices, and attend sales team meetings to grow your business
• Be a source of knowledge and willing to learn about new building materials
• Participate in quarterly inventory counts
• Take pride in your work environment keeping your work area/vehicle clean and presentable
• Respect and obey safety policies and procedures in our yard and on job sites
• All other duties as directed by Regional Sales Manager

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A broad knowledge of Garage doors, openers, and hardware required
• Detail orientated with disciplined work habits
• Minimum two years sales experience is an asset
• Effective communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Strong computer skills
• Customer-service focused
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
