Our foundation products have been pre-certified to ISO 26262 ASIL D and we offer a broad range of board support packages, professional services, AUTOSAR adaptive support and middleware solutions – from acoustic management, to digital cockpits to advanced driving assistance (ADAS) - to accelerate development and help OEMs meet Start of Production (SOP) dates. BlackBerry QNX is looking for an experienced Automotive Strategic Alliances Manager with a background in an embedded automotive software environment and a proven track record of recruiting and proactively working with silicon and software partners. Focusing specifically on the Asia Pacific region, this role will focus on ecosystem development, localization and management to drive integrated solution stacks for our customers.As part of our BlackBerry QNX Product & Strategy team, you will recruit, build, and maintain a robust, comprehensive automotive ecosystem that strengthens and complements the BlackBerry QNX value proposition. Responsibilities include identifying, recruiting, and managing key silicon and software partners, leading complex contractual negotiations and actively monitoring market requirements and emerging technology trends. You will work closely with the engineering, product management, sales, marketing, legal and finance organizations.The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong business and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to successfully engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous engagements are essential.RESPONSIBILITIESRecruit key automotive ecosystem partners to help drive business captureActively grow and manage key strategic ecosystem partner relationshipsEngage internal and external stakeholders to align roadmap, customer programs opportunitiesDrive joint go-to-market initiatives and PR across the ecosystem to amplify BlackBerry QNX key messagingContinuously analyze emerging market and technology trends to identify technology gaps in the BlackBerry QNX product portfolio. Recruit best-in-class technology suppliers to augment the BlackBerry QNX ecosystem.Negotiate complex software licensing agreements to support BlackBerry QNX overall go-to-market requirementsActively engage with Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Sales, Finance, and other groups to manage the BlackBerry QNX ecosystem, participating and leading cross-functional initiatives as requiredEngage with external and internal stakeholders to perform market and customer needs analysis to develop market opportunity assessments and business model proposals to aid product roadmap investment decisionsArticulate and champion the value proposition for our products and services to customers and key external stakeholdersLead business negotiations for all licensing and contracts related to the ecosystem accountsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent technical degree or diploma programRecent automotive embedded software experienceProblem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, ability to navigate complex situations and manage conflict resolution with ecosystem partnersExperience negotiating legal agreementsProven track record of forging and managing key relationshipsMinimum of 10 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or strategic alliances rolesLocated in Shanghai, ChinaFluency in written and spoken English and MandarinADDITIONAL ASSETS:Proven ability to work and engage with world-class engineering talentStrong verbal, written, project management, and interpersonal communication skills as well as strong customer service orientation are requiredAbility to manage accounts at all levels of the organization#LI-JC1Scheduled Weekly Hours:40
