Student, Financial Applications (Summer 2024)

About the Role The Financial Applications group is looking for a student full-time for the winter coop term. The student’s primary responsibilities will be focused on providing assistance to our business analyst group. In this role, the student will collaborate with experienced analysts to perform tasks such as gathering requirements, documenting processes, supporting project planning, and aiding in cross-functional initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn within the dynamic field of business analysis.Key Responsibilities Assist in gathering and compiling requirements from stakeholders.Aid in basic application configuration tasks under the guidance of experienced analysts.Help with documenting process designs and workflows based on instructions.Support in executing testing activities, such as running test cases and documenting results.Participate in training sessions, helping with logistics and materials.Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of support operation procedures. Knowledge Required Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program;Completed or ongoing first year university or college studies in Computer Science, Business Analysis, Management Information Systems or a related program. Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site to perform most effectively.
