Apply now: melissa.cumetti@randstad.ca and philippe.pilon@randstad.ca Advantages - Permanent full time Monday to Friday (flex hours), 8am to 4:30 pm - 100% on site 5 days a week - Parking on site - Excellent working environment - Benefit Plans and RSP (up to 4% match) - Vacations + personal days + sick - Free gym on site!! - Huge company Christmas party Responsibilities The Safety Coordinator is responsible for: - Being the first point of contact for drivers in accidents, support with resolving issues, conduct accident reviews and root cause analysis - Review jurisdictional repatriations for non-compliance (CVOR, USDOT, drivers abstracts) - Recommend and implement improvement and/or reduction measures in all areas such as: traffic violations, CVOR/USDOT violations, accident rates, WCB frequency, and accident reporting maintenance of owner-operator equipment. - Develop a schedule for pre-departure monitoring of the driver in the yard and documentation of all monitoring interactions - Support with driver training sessions and new hires road tests - Provide training as required (corrective actions after the accident, dangerous goods, etc.) - Maintain and improve current knowledge of all aspects of transportation industry regulatory requirements - Monitor driver performances - Carry out road assessments and training of new drivers Qualifications - Two years of previous experience in a security and compliance role - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent group presentation skills - Great attention to detail, good time management and organizational skills - Thorough knowledge and understanding of Canadian and US highways, safety and security practices - CVOR, US DOT FMCSR, Hours of Service, CSA, Load Securement, HazMat/Dangerous Goods, C-TPAT/FAST - Valid class AZ driver's license / Class 1 drivers license Summary Focusing the Transport & Logistics industry, we are here to help you find the right job in this field.
