Day Shift SUPERVISOR JOB DESCRIPTION   Our Tim Hortons Store Supervisor position is operational in nature and involves the supervision of Team Members activities on shift to ensure that standards around people, product, cleanliness, and Exceptional Guest Experience are fulfilled.  Ability to work full time hours with anytime availabilty. 4AM to 1130PM. Live close by or drive a vehicle is most convienent.   Operations Management     Displays knowledge of and works in compliance with applicable legislation  Complies with and enforces all Tim Hortons operating standards  Ability to be flexible with location and hours required  Ensures that all product and packaging is properly merchandised and stocked  Completes shift cash procedures when necessary  Completes inventory purchasing when necessary  Maintains operation efficiency through use of positioning charts  Supervises Team Members to ensure primary and secondary duties are completed  Ensures all restaurant policies are followed during shift (i.e. cash policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies)  Keeps current on all new information on Portal  Assists the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and transactions during shift  Completes all required shift documentation (i.e. records waste, debit checks, production sheets)  Escalates to Restaurant Manager any issues and/or problems   Conducts regular store AM & PM manager walk-throughs  Other duties as required    People Management     Leads by example and demonstrates the importance of treating every Team Member and Guest with respect  Reacts immediately to issues requiring attention during shift  Provides ongoing, specific direction to Team Members in an appropriate tone and manner  Encourages an exciting and enjoyable work environment while motivating Team Members to meet goals  Trains, orientates and monitors new Team Members  Reports to Restaurant Owner, General Manager, Human Resource Manager, Restaurant Manager and/or Assistant Manager on Team Member performance (positive or negative)  Assists in ensuring optimal Team Member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor leadership    Hospitality Management     Leads by example to demonstrate that the Guest is top priority and reinforces positive hospitality behaviors with Team Members  Responds to Guests in a friendly manner while maintaining an appropriate sense of urgency  Responds to special Guest requests in a friendly manner  Responds to Guest Service complaints in a timely manner, resolving problems and turning potential negative situations into positive situations  Assists in the running of company-wide incentive programs    Health and Safety     Monitors for, responds to and reports to Restaurant Manager and/or Restaurant Owner about unsafe acts and conditions    Works in compliance with the occupational health and safety legislation  Knows, understands and follows safe work practices and procedures  Uses or wears personal protective equipment or clothing as required  Reports all injuries/illness, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents and any contravention of health and safety legislation, policies and procedures to the Restaurant Manager or Owner  Does not operate any equipment, machines, device or things, or otherwise work in a manner that will endanger any Team Member, Guest or oneself  Ensures health and safety policies are followed during shift including documentation and reporting of any work-related injuries or accidents    Previous Quick Service Restaurant Experience * Live Near Location or Drive * Flexible schedule * Able to life 25 pounds or more * Previous Supervisor Experience
