We provide innovative instrumentation and professional services in water quality instrumentation, air quality analyzers, gas detection, flow meters, level and pressure instrumentation, chemical injection pumps, wastewater samplers, dewpoint transmitters, and process valves.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for an Instrumentation Technician and Inside/Outside Sales and Support. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of process control instruments. The technician will also be responsible for providing sales and support services to customers. This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work located in Calgary, AB, but with flexibility for some remote work. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Qualifications
- Have a Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate or an Apprentice Instrumentation card.
- Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: CSTS 2020, H2S Alive and Standard First Aid.
- AWP, Fall Protection, TDG, WHMIS, and CSO tickets are assets.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated success working as an instrumentation technician/inside/outside sales person
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, twisting, etc.
- Ability to travel to the USA, UK, and EU for training when required
- Experience in process control instrumentation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of calibration techniques

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Technical diploma or equivalent in instrumentation or a related field
