Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Instrumentation Technician and Inside/Outside Sales and Support. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of process control instruments. The technician will also be responsible for providing sales and support services to customers. This is a hybrid role, with the majority of work located in Calgary, AB, but with flexibility for some remote work. The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Qualifications

  • Have a Journeyperson or Instrumentation Certificate or an Apprentice Instrumentation card.
  • Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: CSTS 2020, H2S Alive and Standard First Aid.
  • AWP, Fall Protection, TDG, WHMIS, and CSO tickets are assets.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years demonstrated success working as an instrumentation technician/inside/outside sales person
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, twisting, etc.
  • Ability to travel to the USA, UK, and EU for training when required
  • Experience in process control instrumentation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
  • Knowledge of calibration techniques

  • Technical diploma or equivalent in instrumentation or a related field
