If you’re ready to take your career into your own hands, you’ve come to the right place.MNP Digital offers candidates the option of a hybrid home/office work environment which provides flexibility to be based anywhere in Canada.Responsibilities Provide and lead strategic financial consulting services to a wide range or MNP's clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors including Finance Strategy and Governance, Planning, Business Alignment and Enablement, Process Redesign, Solution Design, System Selection, Project Management and finance Systems OptimizationDesign and configure technology stack – Sage Intacct and third party software’s such Microsoft PowerBI, and other ISV add-ons, etcDevelop business defined solutions that include people, process and technologyDesign & Flowchart workflows of system, including project/grant management, invoicing, revenue recognition, accounts payable/accounts receivable, financial reports, etcClean-up historical financials and load into Sage Intacct.Responsible for the delivery of consulting services such as strategic and operational planning, business and IT transformation, business process improvement, performance optimization, organization effectiveness and risk assessmentManage complex projects and undertake the leadership of teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and within the client specifications to ensure project profitability and client satisfactionWork collaboratively with clients to identify business opportunities including defining root cause of issues and developing innovation solutions that achieve client outcomesIdentify ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added valueManage project financials (i.e. use of resources, budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)Lead in the collection, development, research and analysis of data including website research, review of reports, interviews, focus groups and surveysPrepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining findings, facts and highlights resulting from the client engagementThink strategically about client needs by quickly gaining an understanding of their business, their organization, operating environment and key risksFacilitate collaboration with client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas and project metricsPerform team management and coordination to align project resources and activities to project work plansMaintain high quality control by reviewing work done by other team members for accuracy and completeness; provide feedback to team membersMonitor project timelines against targets, adjust where necessary; advise clients of project status and seek clarification on discrepancies where applicableLeverage team appropriately to ensure proper documentation is prepared for the client and procedures relating to the file are followed accordinglyPromote MNP consulting services through the delivery of presentations, writing articles, facilitating workshops or participating in community activitiesDevelop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industryActive involvement in the business and IT business community to build a relationship networkProvide leadership and subject matter experience in proposal development and solution designContribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processesPromote regular attendance, balanced lifestyle and high standard of team wellness Skills and Experience Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, technology, engineering or other related field5 to 8 years of IT experience in a consulting environment is preferredSage Intacct, Microsoft Business Central or equivalent experience required ideally within a Construction or Real Estate environmentClient Accounting experience or professional designation (e.g. CPA) is preferred Accounting, project management, and reporting skillsFundamental knowledge of GAAPDetail oriented, master of time management and organizationCompletion of additional certifications (e.g. PMP, TOGAF, ITIL) are considered an assetStrong financial and analytical capabilityPassion for innovation and application of technology to solve complex business problemsExperience in project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadershipProfessional experience in IT Strategy and Planning, Business Alignment and Enablement, Business and IT Transformation, Process Redesign, Solution Design, System Selection, Project Management, Implementation Reviews and IT Systems OptimizationExperience in proposal developmentA developed network within the business and IT community is considered a strong assetSome travel may be required
