International Student Education Advisor

We are currently looking for Education Advisor to join our team and support in both Immigration and Education services.

Key Responsibilities : The position serves as the first point of contact for education advisory services at WeCollabo Immigration. The education advisor provides guidance to students on post-secondary education options and works closely with the Immigration Consultant and provides day-to-day support in all aspects of client accounts; preparation, filing, and following up on the process.

• Act as a liaison between the agencies, students, and schools.
• Identify client’s needs and collect pre-assessment for an initial consultation
• Respond to clients’ inquiries in a professional manner and timely manner
• Schedule in-person, phone, or online consultations with prospective International students
• Provide options of study pathways and career programs selection to best suit based on their educational background, work experience, and goals
• Liaison admissions process at local colleges and institutes
• Work with clients to gather necessary information & documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain client management systems and database and ensure all information is up-to-date
• Explore new opportunities and business sources in relation to clients’ service
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and business partners/suppliers
• Work closely with RCIC and the team regarding the new client intake
• Assist in creating newsletters for social media and marketing
• May compile data, statistics, and other information to support research activities
• Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, etc.

Requirement

• A bachelor's degree or college diploma in business, sales, and marketing
• At least 1 year of experience in sales, administration or as education advisor (preferred)
• Fluent in Both English and Spanish (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in English and professional administrative experience
• Client relationship management with exceptional customer service
• Excellent interpersonal skills (approachable, positive, motivated, extra mile attitude).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• High attention detail-oriented and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure in a goal-oriented organization in a fast-paced environment
• High level of analytical skills with strong editing and writing
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Passionate about the Immigration/Education field
• Previous experience working with Education/Immigration Industry would be an asset

Salary : $19.00-$24.00 per hour
