Summary : Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, as the Inventory Control Coordinator you will be responsible to ensure inventory accuracy, report variances and manage multiple inventory KPI's in accordance with Customer and Hopewell Standards.

Reports to Inventory Control Manager.

  • Work closely with Inventory Control Manager, to ensure all cycle counts and returns are processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures follow-up communication with IC Manager.
  • Assists IC team in maintaining targeted inventory accuracy and integrity by maintaining and reporting cycle counting results.
  • Responsible for investigation of inventory shortages and overages.
  • Processes customer / carrier Over-Shorts & Damage claims.
  • Client QA On-Hold Requests - Verifies that requested pallets are found, placarded, segregated and held with either appropriate Code rating as per the client.
  • Returns pallets to Plant via a Transfer Order (special allocation) or hold for further Instructions
  • Mock Recall: Perform as requested and communicates results to IC Manager.
  • Monitors damages, and donations areas.
  • Monitors and reports to IC Manager, inventory holds status for close to code, aged inventory, and special hold requests e.g., Promotions. Works with the client to minimize aged inventory.
  • Reconciliation of month end inventory
  • Solve process issues in a timely manner by interacting with appropriate personnel/Departments

Knowledge and Skills

  • Forklift (MHE) certification and experience required :

  • Warehousing principles.

  • Warehouse layout.

  • Detailed product understanding.

  • Service Level Agreement standards and KPI’s.

  • Interpersonal skills.

  • Red Prairie (Once training completed)
