OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for an OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel. OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel - Job Description The Analyst will be responsible for assisting in resolving margin disputes as a result of exposure differences on OTC uncleared Derivative trades The incumbent will create daily reconciliation reports and be responsible for monitoring, reporting and escalation of trade and portfolio level exposure differences keeping in compliance with regulatory guidelines Department: Collateral Management Services - Team is responsible for daily margining, collateral bookings, trade exposure reconciliation, cash management and client onboarding Produce exposure reconciliations for in-scope counterparties according to regulatory guidelines including ageing and reasons for differences Track and monitor frequency of required reconciliations based on counterparty trade volumes in compliance with industry regulations Partner with IT to reduce systemic risk and increase operational efficiencies in the daily process Case Management and reporting of exposure differences in TriResolve and using EUC tools Escalating disputes/discrepancies as per Standing Orders and department Operating Procedures Liaise with internal stakeholders and counterparties to ensure timely resolution of exposure differences in compliance with regulatory requirements Assist in producing management reporting for KPI purposes Proactively advise margin teams on potential disputes through the day Cross-train as required on additional control functions including CSA onboarding OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel - Mandatory Skills College or University Diploma/degree 1-2 years’ experience in an operations/middle office role ideally with Derivatives and/or reconciliation Good understanding of the OTC margining workflow under the ISDA-CSA protocols Understanding of Over-the-Counter Derivative trading and settlement process Good understanding of E2E margin process Advanced MS Excel skills - macros, advanced data functions Attention to detail / Ability to multi-task while adhering to deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel- Preferred Skills Experience with Database queries for reporting (nice to have) Management Information reporting (nice to have) Familiarity with COLLINE, TriResolve, Acadia (nice to have) OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel - Assignment Start Date ASAP – 12 months to start OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel - Assignment Location Bedford, NS – Work Hybrid
