Your New Role:

They are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Retail Manager to join their team. Reporting into the General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all retail operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maximizing revenue, and enhancing the overall customer experience. This position is the cornerstone of the sites operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of retail operations, including tenant relations and property management.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on monthly and quarterly operating budgets and tenant sales, ensuring revenue and expenses align with targets and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as leasing and marketing, to drive occupancy and maximize revenue.
  • Coordinates contractors access for tenant build-outs, renovations, and construction projects, ensuring timely completion with minimal disruption to shopping mall tenants.
  • Foster strong relationships with retail tenants, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for revenue growth and market differentiation.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote retail spaces and drive foot traffic to the properties.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in retail and real estate management.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Rental Property Management License (Asset)
  • Proven experience in retail property management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and meet leasing targets.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and leasing management software.
