The manager will support the team and contribute to the development of a strong control framework for the team and for IT and Labs.Main responsibilitiesEnsure the development, implementation, and continuity of an action plan for the team in alignment with the strategic orientations of the company and the IT/Labs division, in a context of performance management, optimization and cross functional synergies.Implement management and communication practices that promote sound governance, skills development, mobilization, talent retention and diversity, consistent with the company's values.Specific responsibilitiesCoach and support Project Control Officers and Portfolio Analysts; implement and follow up on individual and customized development plansOptimize resource assignment and allocation to ensure synergy and improve workload distributionDrive the development and delivery of an appropriate PCO frameworkLead the PMO governance rules enforcement as part of IT project deliveryEnsure the sound application of common processes for the PCOs Seek opportunities for improvement and optimization in all areas of responsibilityWork collaboratively with the Portfolio managers and IT Finance teams to achieve transformation, assess the potential for continuous improvement and eliminate duplicationBuild and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partnersDrive the creation of strategies to facilitate project budget control processes covering IT and LabsYou are:Passionate about project management, project budget control and operational efficiency and constantly on the lookout for new approaches and trendsStimulated by challengesAble to turn vision into actionStimulated by professional development and team supportResult orientedFor candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.You have: Bachelor of Business AdministrationA PMP is a strong asset5-10 years of experience in managing and supporting professionalsKnowledge of PMO governance rulesVery strong modelling skills and ability to discuss financials with non financial colleaguesEase of adaptation to an evolving environmentAbility to influenceStrategic thinking and ability to challenge the status quoExcellent communication skillsNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.#LI-HybridWhat we offerWorking here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
