Red Seal Electrician (Night Shift/$45 to $50 per hour)

Job Description : Our client in the manufacturing space is looking for an electrician to join their team. Someone who is skilled in electrical but is also mechanically inclined and looking to continue expanding their skillset and grow with the company. Wage range is up to $50 per hour based on red seal ticket and experience plus shift premiums. We also have employee programs, training, employee events, lunch room facilities and free parking. You MUST be available to work the Night Shift as that is the current requirement at this time. What you’ll be doing: -Install and maintain facility and industrial equipment along with electrical and electronic controls -Troubleshooting, diagnosing and other repairs to improve facility efficiency -Preventative maintenance and repairs through the CMMS system -Testing electrical and electronic equipment and components for serviceability -Maintenance, repair, testing and installation of electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical equipment -Installation and maintenance and troubleshooting and calibration of industrial instrumentation and related devices including SSRs, SCRs and VFDs -Completing paperwork and adhering to safety standards -Ensuring deadlines are met and that work is completed to schedule and is cost efficient -Collaborating with other department/team members when needed Required Qualifications : -Journeyman or Red Seal Electrician ticket required -2-3 years of experience working as an electrician in a manufacturing environment -Mechanical aptitude and knowledge an asset -PLC experience an asset -Experience in reading electrical blueprints and schematics and up to date knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code -Must be available to work rotating shifts and some holidays if shutdowns are required -Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) -Legally entitled to work in Canada with Canadian working experience
