Our Client is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to work on concurrent infrastructure projects and initiatives.
This position will follow a hybrid work arrangement with a mix of on-site and remote work during regular business hours from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be expected to be on-site in Saanich, British Columbia, on average, a minimum of two (2) days per week. Must be Canadian Citizen to apply and work within Canada at all times.
Skills UAT, M365, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Intune, WiFi Type Contract Experience Required/Mandatory SkillsUndergraduate degree in Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience working on IT projects as a Technical BA, more is preferred.
Ability to work along side Technical Project Managers to supply Business Analysis services for multiple concurrent infrastructure projects & initiatives.
Schedule, plan, and lead requirements gathering and review meetings in development and documentation of Business, Functional and Technical Requirements
Work with stakeholders and technical team members to map, analyse, and document business processes.
Create process workflow diagrams.
Contribute to program planning and execution.
Develop, track, and report on IT Infrastructure and Network metrics, including KPIs, and other key metrics using data analytics tools.
Assess options for process improvements, including business process modeling.
Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
Contribute to final solution design by identifying data, functional, and non- functional needs.
Establish a structured approach with Operations staff to align with change control processes to ensure efficient end to end delivery of updates and changes.
Liaise with testing team to define and execute system testing such as load, integration, failover.
Coordinate system testing.
Liaise with business stakeholders and support teams to develop and execute User Acceptance Testing
Excellent communication and group facilitation skills
Consideration will be given to candidates with experience with one or more of the following technology areas in the following order of importance:
Microsoft M365 (OneDrive, Outlook Cloud, SharePoint, Teams)
Network design/refresh projects.
Distributed cloud initiatives: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
