Job SummaryAs Cloud Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for leading different Cloud Engineering projects in the following areas: Operations, Infrastructure, DevOps and Security. This position involves architecting cloud solutions; leading projects through completion; analyzing application designs; monitoring to ensure that deployed software and environments are operating at peak performance; pushing the DevSecOps culture. This role is involved across all software products from development, thru product testing trials, and into production.ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute projects, ensuring that your team has appropriate technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver the tasks effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlinesKeep the team on track – proactively identify project, people and organizational problems and provide well-thought-out solutions before issues become delaysContinuously influence the team to adopt new processes and tools that support the DevSecOps cultureDemonstrate leadership abilities by promoting the DevSecOps culture (“you build, you run it”) to Cloud Engineering and Development teams to improve the time to market and stability of our software productsContinuously looking to improve our product deployment automation and monitoring capabilitiesWork closely with onsite and remote development teams to understand how the systems integrate togetherManage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentSalary: $100,000 to $125,000/yr Requirements Min 3+ years’ experience leading through the design, development, release cycle, and delivering of software products to market2+ years of experience with cloud-based computing services such as AWS or Azure and Google CloudExperience automating using Python, Shell and PowerShell SDKs for AWS and Azure APIsExpertise in defining new infrastructure designs involving cloud network, leveraging different cloud native servicesKubernetes cluster administration
