Junior Administrator

Secure Energy is looking for a facility junior administrator at the Grande Prairie Industrial site. This role will work directly with the facility lead admin. The Junior Administrator is responsible for performing a broad range of service functions in support of efficient and effective facility operations. The key responsibility areas for this role involve office administration, operational support, customer service, account payable and primarily assisting with lead admin duties. The Junior Administrator is an essential part of the team and will be key in mentoring and modeling Secure’s common values and principles with clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities : The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Data entry of waste information for waste tracking
  • Receives and manages all paperwork from the disposal and transportation companies
  • Enters waste receiving information into database (HMM)
  • Prepare invoice summaries for accounting
  • Manages bin tracking
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Take direction from lead admin

Qualifications and Educational Requirements :

  • Grade 12/GED
  • Minimum 2 years administrative experience
  • High proficiency in MS office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service
  • Working in a team setting and the ability to cope with brief but intensive high activity periods
  • Oilfield Waste Management experience an asset
  • Openness to additional responsibility or assisting other staff during low activity periods
