Junior Service Technician

We are looking for a a Junior Air Compressor Technician to join our team on the road, in Thunder Bay ! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in the field of industrial equipment maintenance and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Assist senior technicians in installing new air compressor systems at customer sites;
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on air compressors, including filter changes, oil checks, and lubrication;
• Provide preventative maintenance service for our customers’ equipment;
• Assist in repairing or replacing faulty components, such as valves, pumps, motors, and controls;
• Investigate the root causes of unplanned shutdowns and make the appropriate repair;
• Provide excellent customer service promoting customer loyalty;
• Participate in the effective sharing of information with the administration;
• Learn and adhere to industry regulations and best practices for air compressor maintenance and safety;
• Maximize the work schedule and the profitability of the assigned tasks.

YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL IF

• You have a minimum of 1 year experience in a mechanical or maintenance role;
• You have basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical controls;
• You have the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams;
• You have a basic understanding of pneumatic systems;
• You can work independently as well as part of a team;
• You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• You are willing to learn;
• You have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
