Cardio Technician Casual- ECG

Reporting to the Manager, Cardiovascular Rehabilitation andCardiac Diagnostics, the Cardio Technician is responsible for completing Electrocardiograms (ECG's) for bothinpatients and outpatients in all areas of the hospital. EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Education/Experience: * Graduate of a CMA accredited cardiology technology program * Current registration with Canadian Society of CardiologyTechnologists (CSCT) * Current certification in BCLS Skills/Abilities: * Excellent interpersonal communication skills (electronic, oraland written) * Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in aninterprofessional team environment * Demonstrated computer literacy with Electronic Medical Records(Meditech) and PACS applications including GE MUSE * Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and awareness. * Excellent problem solving, decision making, and criticalthinking skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Demonstrated regular attendance Assets: * 12 Lead ECG course/training Salary Range: $32.590 to 37.260 The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety andsecurity of the patients, visitors, employees and assets financial and otherwise.
