Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: Will train Work site environment Outdoors At heights Noisy Dusty Work setting Urban area Rural area Construction site Tasks Load, unload and transport construction materials Clean and lubricate cranes Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt Level earth to fine grade specifications Assist in demolishing buildings Clean and pile salvaged materials Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Direct traffic at or near construction sites Support for persons with disabilities Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities Support for newcomers and refugees Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youths Support for Indigenous people Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Support for mature workers Provides workspace accommodations, such as age-appropriate ergonomic considerations, to meet the physical needs of mature workers (for example: adjustable desks and chairs, accessible parking, etc.) Supports for visible minorities Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
