Duties Work environmentCorrectional Service of Canada (CSC) is part of the criminal justice system with a statutory role to provide safe and secure incarceration for federal offenders.CORCAN is a Special Operating Agency within CSC and operates with a Revolving Fund. Its purpose is to aid in the safe reintegration of offenders into Canadian society by providing employability skills, employment and training opportunities, vocational certification, and employment support services to offenders. CORCAN operates under a governance structure with a Headquarters in the National Capital Region, and offers offender employment and employability services, on the job and vocational training sites, and sales support in every region of the country.
