Job Title: Driver Supervisor
Location: Milton, ON
We have an immediate opening for a Driver Supervisor for a growing retail organization. This is a great place to build your career in logistics. If you have 2-5 years of experience working with drivers this may be just the opportunity you’re looking for!
In this role, you will be managing about 20 non-union delivery drivers. The focus of this role is to develop and train your team of delivery drivers to provide outstanding service to the company’s clientele, while monitoring KPI’s and looking for ways to improve processes.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Supervise and direct the activities of truck drivers.
- Interview drivers, carry out performance reviews, conduct training and development, discipline and take corrective action as needed.
- Review monthly vehicle logs and ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve customer and driver concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a transportation environment.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service experience, ability to train drivers in basic customer service is required.
- Computer skills, ability to track and analyze KPI’s.
