Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting tasks, from costing and pricing inventory to preparing financial statements and contributing to the success of our organization.Primary Duties:Maintain Balance and Accuracy: Keep our accounts and schedules in perfect harmony, ensuring that financial data is accurate and well-maintained.Vehicle Deals: Play a critical role in our sales operations by posting vehicle deals, including new, used, wholesale, dealer trades, and fleet transactions.Factory Program Money: Reconcile all factory program money schedules to vehicle sales, ensuring the financial health of our organization.Invoicing Expertise: Post vehicle invoices into CDK, making sure all financial transactions are accounted for.Commission Calculations: Calculate commissions to be paid accuratelySales Support: Maintain sales-related schedules to help our team track their progress and success.Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements through the reconciliation of various accounts, providing a clear picture of our financial performance.Auditor Support: Assist in preparing fiscal year-end working papers for auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process.Requirements:Experience Matters: This is not your first accounting rodeo! We're looking for an experienced accountant, preferably with prior experience at a dealership (CDK experience is a major asset!).Excel Wizard: You are the Yoda of Excel.
