Title: Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative

Miller Waste Systems Inc. has been in operation since 1961. Miller is a leader in waste management, providing governments and industries with a wide range of services in the provinces of Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Manitoba. Miller has over 50 years’ experience in the waste management sector and operates out of 30 locations. We are looking for a highly capable Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to support our Truro and Amherst locations, from the office in Truro.

Responsibilities:
• Providing superior customer service to MWSI customer in the ICI and Municipal lines of business.
• Process customer service transactions generated from service contracts, service changes, billing issues, temporary orders, extra services.
• Resolve all customer inquiries and report customer issues.
• Data entry of clients into TRUX software for both municipal and ICI customers.
• Work with sales, operation and administration departments to complete or resolve customer requests within the east coast operations.
• Special projects for market growth opportunities.
• Fleet-mind monitoring and report generation for heavy bins, densification, etc.
• Major Account monthly waste diversion reports.
• Working closely with both operations and sales to ensure a harmonious relationship through ensuring resolution are found to all issues.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Successful candidates should have dispatching experience, preferably in the waste industry. You must be a team player, have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as excellent knowledge on PC based systems. Positive attitude and professionalism is a must. Previous customer service/sales experience is a definite asset.
