Randstad Canada is currently partnering with our client in Surrey, BC, to help them find employees for their new facility.We are hiring for Maintenance Worker with an employer that deals with retail and grocery products. The ideal candidate would possess basic maintenance and general labour experience. Roles are straight shift schedules with opportunity permanent hire and for career growth as this new facility launches.Starting wages are $23.45/hr.We have openings on the following shifts:Tuesdays - Saturdays, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AMAdvantages- medical and dental benefits from day one- potential for skilled trade apprentices to complete hours- weekly pay- immediate starts availableResponsibilities- working in room, refrigerated, and freezer temperatures- lifting between 5 - 50 lbs on a regular basis- using RF scanners- operating forklift equipment (in-house training and certification provided)Qualifications- familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out procedures- experience in machine cleaning- ability to climb ladders- ability to crawl under railings/platforms- general hand tool experienceSummaryApply today to start next week!
