Overall Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, IBP & Demand Planning, the Manager, Integrated Business Planning is responsible for the IBP process at JWEL. This includes improving capability in the space of IBP, with a focus on getting cross-functional business participation and alignment on key initiatives and objectives. The role will require engagement with cross functional business leaders to integrate crucial changes to the IBP process, making it continuously more effective and a long-term roadmap for continuous advancements delivered through forecasting.
Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties
- all program management activities for the deployment and maturation of IBP processes and data integration, ensure all process requirements are met to achieve a successful monthly cycle. This includes but is not limited to meeting organization, administration, tracking of key risks and opportunities, cross functional preparatory support for each meeting and the maintenance of the IBP document repository.
Attends IBP meetings and facilitates the process, through the development and communication of IBP calendars and process tools
- collaborates, and educates cross functional stakeholders on IBP concepts and culture to ensure process is self sufficient and working as expected
- and Lead AOP activities, this includes but not limited to, timeline creation, working with cross functional teams to ensure timely inputs, recommendation on IBP task force team, including representatives from cross functional teams, retrospectives after AOP completion, identifying areas for improvement
- and develops service improvement activity across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking
- Supply Chain Organization suite of critical operating reports
- as a Kinaxis SME for new or updates to design solution elements
Demonstrate leadership, influence and expertise through
Fostering teamwork between all internal departments
Creation of synergies across BU’s, finding ways to leverage best practices
Being the lead for all IBP initiatives (i.e. Maturity assessments, Audits, Efficiency tracking)
Create the engagement plan with CLT on IBP process:
This will include process alignment meetings with business leaders on helping them drive IBP improvements and deliver efficiency benefits
Develop and align on an improvement plan
Drive governance of improvement plans
Ensure Cross functional Teams are deriving value from the process, addressing inefficiencies and opportunities for streamlining
Identify key capabilities required to improve, and create a delivery roadmap for long term changes
Identify the metrics to govern the IBP process
Set the framework for system-to-system transition of volume forecasts
Lead the cross functional IT teams in development of system enhancements and automation, ensure accuracy of data
Support forecast data integration of new tools and processes
Developing SLA and BRD documentation for third party contractors and external teams
Coordinating internal teams to align to technology infrastructure design relating to volume forecasting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements
- or post graduate degree (MBA/MSc)
- Degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university and three to five years of Supply Chain or Operations experience in a progressive Organization (industry preferred)
