The team is comprised of aviation industry experts,data management and analytic professionals and experienced data scientistsbased in Montreal and Geneva.This hiring position of Manager, UserInterface Delivery oversees the development and improvement of user interface(UI), with a primary emphasis on enhancing user experience, optimizing reportexecution and performance, and integrating with various IATA systems.This role is part of the BusinessIntelligence Delivery unit and reports to Senior Manager, DDS Operations.What your day would be likeManage various tasks within the UI development track to ensure successful implementation. This encompasses activities such as refining requirements, prioritizing tasks, managing vendor resources, conducting testing and validation, and managing release cycle.Collaborate with the business team and vendors to document and refine requirements for the different UI developments and enhancements, ensuring a seamless translation of business needs into technical specifications.Collaborate with the vendor and IATA I&D team to manage the integration interfaces with other systems, review and document integration requirements, and identify potential breaking points along with potential solutions.Work with I&D team and the vendor to identify areas to improve the UI user experience, optimize the navigation flow in the system, and to align with IATA standards and UI best practices.Monitor UI performance and execution times for various reports. Collaborate with the vendor and the I&D team to benchmark and assess the impact of different developments and enhancements on report execution times.Monitor report executions, logging any failures encountered and collaborate with the vendor and the I&D team to address and resolve these failures.Develop and maintain DDS KnowledgeBase, collaborating with the business team to build knowledge materials such as data logic, videos, glossaries, and more, and ensure user-friendly navigation to facilitate easy access to relevant information for end-users.Monitor of vendor performance and delivery including Quality Assurance and Compliance. Regular reporting on vendor KPIs and identify trends and patterns to support for continuous improvement.Support the business team by sharing knowledge and best practices on the data management framework, processes, tools and functions.Support in technical knowledge transfer from the vendor to IATA operations.We would love to hear from you if or in Computer Science or Computer EngineeringMust have solid technical expertise in Cloud Computing, AWS infrastructure and Database Management5+ years’ experience in solution design and architecturePreferred knowledge in business intelligence and reporting (MS Power BI), integration and systems architecture.Proven experience working closely with business owners and subject matter experts to document, design, develop, and deliver high-quality data and analytics solutions is requiredGood interpersonal communication; the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple mannerFluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in EnglishTeam player and strong sense of ownership.
