Location: Royal Roads University Shifts: Overnight Shifts; 22:30 - 06:30 Reports to: Site Supervisor Wage:  $19.00/hr plus RSP Job Responsibilities Provide superior customer service to clients and the general public. Provide access control and security foot/mobile patrols as needed. Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts. Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures when necessary. Using mobile phones and basic computer programs. Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor. Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities. Know occupational health and safety regulations – training provided. Perform all duties with high safety standards. Qualifications and Experience Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Ability to remain alert while on duty.  Ability to work in a range of weather conditions throughout shift. Possess or be willing to obtain a valid BC security worker's license.  Possess a valid driver's license  Be comfortable using computers. Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills. Have a positive attitude with a professional demeanour. Have excellent attention to complete incident report writing. Have excellent problem-solving skills.  Comfortable handling emergencies in a calm manner – training & support will be provided.
