In this role you will performs duties related to patient care under the direction of regulated Health Care Professionals and/or Physicians in accordance with hospital standards, policies and procedures.     REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S)    Personal Support Worker Certificate received from an Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology program   OR received from an Accredited PSW Educational Program   Or completed one year of full-time studies in either the Registered Practical Nursing program or Registered Nursing program at an accredited college/university   BLS Certification      REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S)   Have excellent interpersonal communication skills   Able to organize tasks within time allotted   Able to work efficiently, effectively and safely in a controlled environment   Aware of and acknowledge limitations within the role   Knowledgeable of the policies and procedures directly associated with role   Maintain confidentiality   Ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues and management   Regular and punctual attendance is a requirement of this position.     DESIRED SKILLS , EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION   Gentle persuasive approach certificate considered an asset   Current MANDT (or similar) training     ADDITIONAL PERKS AT MAHC Staff referral program (Earn up to $1000 for each successful Permanent Part Time and Permanent Full Time new hire you refer to MAHC)   Extended health benefits   Enrolment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)   Collaborative and supportive team environment     WHY IS MAHC RIGHT FOR YOU?   Imagine working in a place you love to visit on vacation!
