We are seeking enthusiastic employees with education and/or experience in horticulture or landscape construction who are interested in landscaping and learning new skills. Our work includes providing residential maintenance to high-end gardens (no commercial maintenance) through sustainable landscaping practices and building gorgeous landscapes with high attention to design and details. Description of tasks : Landscape construction (excavation, drainage, base prep, hardscape, irrigation, planting, lighting, water features, etc)
Pruning and planting
Lawn maintenance
Small equipment operation
Weeding and cultivating
Irrigation repairs and troubleshooting
Client relations
Qualifications : Horticultural education preferred
Customer service experience
Genuine interest in horticulture
Physical fitness is an asset
Positive attitude and able to take instruction well
Must be able to work independently as well as with others
Valid BC Driver's License with ability to drive a pick-up truck (provided)
Preference is given for potential long-term employees. Third-party based education provided to employees, as well as on-the-job training. Wage ($24.30 - $30/hr) is dependent on experience and proficiency. We offer health benefits, cell phone stipend, education opportunities and a living wage. Full-time position.
