This locally-based company has a portfolio of repeat clientele but are now looking for a dynamic, driven and well spoken individual to work in a business development focused role, developing relationships as well as nurturing those with existing clientele. This individual would collaborate with an existing principal in the firm. This individual could work this role as an independent contractor or as an employee, with the opportunity in either role to grow into a principal/shareholder position in the firm. THE ROLE Focused on business development, lead generation and building relationships, the primary responsibilities of this role is to generate new business for the firm and then work with clients and managing projects. Learn the ins and outs of the day-to-day operations of the firm and make a strategic plan in obtaining greater market share and potentially diversifying. This firm specializes in a variety of work including multi-family and mixed use wood-frame projects, mid-rise and high rise towers, commercial, retail and community projects. This company are a small firm but with a sound reputation and interested in an individual looking to take their Architect career to the next level. The position pays a combination of salary as well as commissions on any project work bought to the firm, making it a very lucreative opportunity for an individual looking grow. What's Required Registered Architect in Canada is preferred, but not essential. Capable project managers/designers and interns will be considered.
