Plant Operator

Job Description Are you mechanically savvy and passionate about contributing to an efficient production environment? We are seeking a skilled production operator to join our team! Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our paver and block equipment. Responsibilities: Operate production equipment with precision to fulfill production requirements while upholding the highest quality standards. Execute equipment set-up procedures and perform preventative maintenance to optimize operational efficiency. Utilize a variety of tools and measuring devices to maintain, adjust, and repair machinery as needed. Prepare accurate daily reports to track production metrics and equipment performance. Expertly dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components using hoists and hand tools. Proactively identify and communicate any product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime. Adhere strictly to established policies, procedures, and safety regulations to uphold a secure work environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace to ensure a safe and efficient operational space. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines to prioritize safety at all times. Help guide a team of general laborers and dryline operators, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting. Proven mechanical aptitude, showcasing your ability to understand and troubleshoot complex machinery. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey information clearly. Self-motivated with the capacity to work autonomously and take proactive initiatives to enhance productivity. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed to meet production demands and deadlines. Possess flexibility, adaptability, and strong organizational skills to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
