As a member of the Insider Risk Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for timely investigation and reporting of insider risk alerts. They will perform analysis and investigation of activity that has been identified as a potential policy violation or insider fraud event.A significant component of the job will include real time monitoring, investigation, reporting and remediation of insider risk alerts.Position: Insider Risk Analyst Position Status:Full TimeHours of Work: Monday – Friday 9:00am –5:00pm EST & Weekend rotational on-call Department: Information Security Salary: $65,000 - $70,000Responsibilities:Apply prescribed practices to detect and escalate instances of potential insider fraudPerform risk assessments for new client onboarding and process changes for existing clientsMonitor alerts indicating potential policy violations that may be a precursor to insider fraudProvide ongoing feedback and recommend modifications relating to the existing fraud detection strategiesPerform ad-hock internal investigations related to potential insider fraud eventsDocument, review and update standard operating procedures related to insider fraud processesSupport compilation of fraud statistics and trend analysisProvide support in the development of reports and recommendations to senior management, internal/external working groupsSupport NTT Data Privacy, Risk & Compliance initiatives related to internal controls monitoring.Engage business groups as well as internal support teams to leverage knowledge and system synergiesOther duties as required Requirements:2 to 5 years of combined fraud / credit card industry experience at either a financial institution, processor, outsourcing or payments companyGood understanding of internal fraud, payment fraud and asset misappropriation concepts and types, and fraud detection and prevention techniquesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detailProven communication skills and ability to work across diverse teams (enterprise-wide)Strong Microsoft Excel knowledgeAbility to multi-task and juggle competing prioritiesDiversity.
