ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare journal entries for both day-to-day and month-end banking transactions including complex transactionsAssists in the preparation and submission of financial statements, elimination entries, related party transactions and intercompany balances.Bank reconciliation for multiple dealershipsReconcile and post daily cash receiptsPrepare daily depositsPost warranty payments from manufacturersPost factory invoices from manufacturersAssist Senior Accountants with various tasksMonth-end and year-end closeOther duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years’ experience in bookkeeping/accountingExperienced with bank reconciliationsProficient with Excel and use of formulasExperienced with reconciling and analyzing accountsAbility to process high volume of transactions efficientlySelf-motivated and ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsWell-organized and detail-orientedAutomotive experience using CDK and Reynolds & Reynolds would be an asset
