The acquisition of the company by Metro enables Première Moisson to expand even further, thanks to the strength of the distribution network of this leader in the food and drugstore sectors in Quebec and Ontario.Première Moisson is currently looking for a Key Accounts Manager.Reporting to the Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, Industrial Division, the successful candidate will ensure the achievement of corporate growth objectives for all product categories in the North American accounts under his/her responsibility.In keeping with Première Moisson's values, strategy and business challenges, he/she will plan, organize, direct and control the following activities: development of new retail and foodservice customers, identification of business opportunities, distribution channel and broker recommendations, selling price recommendations, coordination of new product launches with customers, market and competition analysis, analysis of sales results and customer tonnage requirements, post-mortem trade marketing promotions, etc. The Business Development Manager is the main link between customer needs and the Première Moisson team.Hybrid position: 3 days on site and 2 days remote workingMain responsibilities :Administrative ManagementProposes growth objectives for accounts under his/her responsibilityEnsures the implementation and achievement of corporate objectivesEnsures Première Moisson's image is respected in the various files handled by his/her teamOptimizes department processesResponsible for food fairs, space reservation, tools, delivery, air tickets, booth set-up and dismantlingResponsible for reimbursement claims for the Export Group program, and for maximizing savings related to this business partnerPrepares periodic management reports for her department, presents them to her superior and submits recommendations based on results achievedResponsible for developing sales in his/her territory by personally identifying business opportunitiesResponsible for brokers covering Canada and the United StatesContributes to the development of the sales and expense budget for his/her territoryResponsible for an account manager, covering distributors, the retail market and foodserviceEvaluates the potential and particularities of the company's current and potential markets, as well as customer needs and the external environment (competitors, trends, prices, market share)Suggests trade fairs of interest to the company and manages event organizationKeeps abreast of new market trends and competitive orientationsMajor Account ManagementSubmits Gate documents for product innovation for its accounts in PM or MPResponsible for sales growth with existing customers and partnership development with new food service and retail customersProvide customers with strategies to drive product salesParticipates in cross-functional category meetingsEnsures Première Moisson promises are kept when suggesting new product developmentProposes withdrawals of non-performing products when necessarySubmits pricing structures for new productsResponsible for ensuring acceptance of price increasesResponsible for program management of various agreements in collaboration with finance, sales coordinator and account managerKeeps superior informed of any problematic or conflicting situationsProcesses sample requests and ensures follow-up for customers, photos, etc.Responsible for liquidation productsRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing or business administrationMinimum 7 years' experience in product management, project management or major account managementMinimum 7 years' experience in the food industry in a management positionKnowledge of the U.S. market -
