We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to become a part of our team. The Operations Manager will assist the Branch Manager as the main contacts for management decisions within the operation. They will ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, safety rules and government regulations. Below is a detailed list which includes, but is not limited to, the Operations Manager basic job requirements, duties, responsibilities, and expectations.

Essential Job Duties, Responsibilities, and Expectations:

  • Direct, plan, and coordinate functional areas of activities such as receiving, order processing, materials management, and cost control.
  • Manage the flow of work throughout the warehouse by coordinating activities and processes, investigate unusual delays and problem areas and take appropriate action to solve.
  • Coordinate activities and facilitate and assure communication within the operation including between departments, shifts and customers.
  • Effectively manage employees by thoroughly communicating company objectives, goals, and performance standards. Hold employees accountable for meeting and/or exceeding these performance expectations.
  • Provide appropriate supervisory and employee training programs for both new and existing employees.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are in place and followed throughout the facility.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years Supervisory Experience.
  • Ability to manage and work effectively in a team.
  • Strong skill set in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Must fluently communicate and write in English. Any additional languages are beneficial and would be considered an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mechanical and Technical aptitude and/or experience would be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge and/or experience within the global industrial and automotive parts marketplace.
